In Korean, TEO (터) means the ground where something begins, a foundation before it has a name of its own. More than a physical place, it represents a space shaped by nature, people, and shared experiences. TEO Nomad was created as a sanctuary for modern city life, inviting guests to slow down, reconnect, and experience Korean tea, thoughtful dining, and contemporary art.

Founder & President
Inspired by her family's roots in Hadong, Shine Shin founded TEO Nomad to introduce Korean tea culture through a contemporary lens. Bringing together premium Korean tea, house-brewed makgeolli, plant-based dining, and contemporary art, she envisioned TEO Nomad as a place where people can slow down, connect, and experience Korean culture in everyday life. For Shine, 터 (TEO) is more than a place. It is the foundation where meaningful experiences begin.
